building now
I built a semantic layer over my life data. Each app owns its data in portable formats: ChordPro for music, JSON for the rest. All data is backed up nightly. Life Hub ties it together into one model of people, places, events and decisions. It's all exposed through a single MCP connector, so any AI agent, from any provider, can read and update my life data, and I'm never locked into one.
ChatGPT and Claude connect through one MCP connector to Life Hub, which links Recipe Hub, Music Hub and Wealth Hub. hover a piece to see what it does.
- ChatGPT and Claude The assistants. They connect once, through a single OAuth-protected connector.
- MCP connector One front door: OAuth sign-in, per-connection limits, and every call logged.
- Life Hub The context layer: people, places, events and decisions, each recorded with where it came from (said by me, recorded by an app, or inferred by an AI).
- Recipe Hub A cooking log PWA: recipes with versions, sessions, ratings and reminders. It has its own connector today and is moving behind the front door.
- Music Hub My chord sheets as plain text, transposable, with every change undoable. Its tools already go through Life Hub.
- Wealth Hub Personal finance. In planning.
